Anthony Voorhees is an active Actor / Writer who has the life experience in the school of hard knocks. The depth of that reality comes through in his scenes as he is gritty and realistic. People who view his work say that they feel like they “were there”, indicating he draws them in with his skills. Growing up in the rough neighborhoods of Atlanta forced him to learn the tricks of the trade. 

His skill set was so evident the on his first day on set with MILLION DOLLAR ARM, he was pulled and cast as a Tempe scout, immediately making him SAG eligible. Bouncing back and forth between Los Angeles and Atlanta gave him the opportunity to take part in many films and TV , eighty to date, such as GENIUS - ARETHA,  SHAFT, THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD, THE OUTSIDERS, FAST AND FURIOUS 8, DYNASTY, DEN OF THIEVES, MACGYVER, GOOD GIRLS, SELMA, TRIPLE NINE, RECTIFY, NOTORIOUS, MONARCH 

Anthony Voorhees used his exposure to the darker underbelly of the south and southern law enforcement to develop his screenplays. For over a decade, he carefully cultivated his writings , loosely based on what he saw and heard through forty years in and around the DIXIE MAFIA into several viable, fully written scripts; DIXIE MAFIA, BITTERSWEET VENGEANCE, DIRTY BADGE, MOLLY, NO HONOR, THE TRAP.
